After having worked for several renowned companies on projects both in the Netherlands and abroad, since 2003 I have been working as interior designer and stylist from my studio in the very heart of Amsterdam.

Listening to the client is of paramount importance when one is creating a unique and personal design plan. It isn't simply a question of following trends. Quality, durability, comfort and functionality are also key factors in my work.

In what is classed as a 'good interior', different spaces will be in balance and harmony with each other. The materials used, volumes and proportions must also be cohesive and whilst a discrepancy can most certainly give fascinating results, stability is always necessary within the overall palette.

The co-operation with specialists in various fields make your design complete with custom made items when more standard solutions are simply not an option. Imagine for example handmade seating furniture by the upholsterer, handmade lampshades by the lighting studio, furniture from the interior builder, tailor made curtains from the studio and decorative iron work from the blacksmith.
